IOup LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DriveMint mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Information Storage

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Learner Profile Information: Name, permit number, permit state, date of birth, and photos of your permit (if you choose to add them)
• Supervisor Information: Names, relationships, driver's license numbers, and license states of your supervising drivers
• Driving Records: Date, duration, distance (if GPS tracking is enabled), weather conditions, road types, time of day, and notes for each driving session

This data is stored in a local SQLite database on your mobile device. This information never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

Location Data (Optional)

If you choose to enable GPS tracking for distance calculation:

• Location data is used solely to calculate the distance driven during a session
• Location data is processed entirely on your device
• Only the calculated distance is stored; raw GPS coordinates are not retained
• Location data is never transmitted to external servers
• On iOS, background location tracking may be used to continue distance calculation when the app is not in the foreground

Local Notifications

DriveMint may send local notifications to your device:

• Drive reminder notifications to check if you are still driving (for drives exceeding 2 hours)
• Auto-pause notifications when no movement is detected for extended periods
• These notifications are generated entirely on your device
• No notification data is transmitted to any server

QR Code Sharing (Device-to-Device)

When you share a drive via QR code:

• Drive data is encoded directly into the QR code image displayed on your screen
• The receiving device scans and decodes the data locally
• No data passes through any server — the transfer happens directly between devices

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information
• We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry
• We do not collect device identifiers
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
• We do not collect crash reports automatically
• We do not share any data with third parties
• We do not display advertisements

Third-Party Services

DriveMint does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or cloud storage providers. The App functions entirely offline and does not require an internet connection for core functionality.

Data Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including:

• Device encryption
• Screen lock/passcode protection
• Biometric authentication (if enabled on your device)

Since data never leaves your device, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Your data remains on your device until you delete it
• You can delete individual driving records, supervisors, or your entire profile within the App
• Uninstalling the App will remove all associated data from your device

Children's Privacy

DriveMint is intended for use by individuals learning to drive, which may include minors. Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. All data remains locally on the device under the control of the device owner.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, you maintain complete control over your information. You can:

• View all your data within the App
• Export your driving records
• Delete any or all of your data at any time
• Uninstall the App to remove all data

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
